Semi Finals Game 1

Welcome to the V Bombers Sports Network, "Home of the Champions"
After a smooth round 1, we move on to Round 2 where titans shall clash. Whom shall prevail between the juggernaut Oles and the titanic abilities of the Sting. On the other side of teh bracket, we have the large and in charge Hart Foundation, that even though had an easy first round, paid for it dearly with a lot of bumps and bruises. They face off against the Hackers, goliaths in their own right with an arsenal capable of bringing the mighty Foundation low.
Whom shall survive? Time to find out...
#1 Oles vs #5 Sting
I was expecting fireworks, but not the level witnessed in this main event. Both teams put up a show to try and intimidate the other team, but nothing worked. Evander Kane led the Sting with a hattie and the Thachuks carried their own 3, and that was just the beginning of the Sting barrage. Oles countered with their own McDavid with a paltry 2, outdone by Robertson 2.5 and met by MacKinnon 2. But that was not all, his team nearly averaged 1.5 across the board, the slugfest was mesmerizing.
When the destruction was over, the dust settled, and the Oles emerged victorious with a 12.5, yes 12.5! The Sting fought bravely and on most nights he would have been highboy, but not tonight, alas, 8.5 was not enough.
Final score 12.5 - 8.5
Did either team use up all the barrels in their gun or was this the signs of things to come for this matchup, we shall see soon enough.

#2 Hart Foundation vs #3 Hackers
After the other war, this match paled in comparison. Both teams had poor -2 goalies, so that would not solve anything. Forwards were pretty even with a slight edge on this night to the Hackers led by Panarin (2). However, the Hart Foundation were built from the defence up, and that was the turning point. The Hackers D couldn't muster much against the punishing Hart D, led by Sergachev and Makar they sealed the deal and plowed Hackers threw a table they somehow managed to sneak on the ice. After that it was over.
Final score 5 - 3.5
