3 games left in the regular season, and standing position is going down to the wire!
The Flash are trying to keep their playoff hopes alive, but were facing a tough Kickass team who's fighting for home ice advantage in round 1 of the playoffs. Both teams had excellent goaltending, but the Flash could only muster offense from 2 players to Joe's 5. Final score in this one is 4 to 1 for the butt kickers. Flash now sit outside the playoffs by 2 points.
The Foundation want that President's Trophy oh so bad, and were looking to put the Doctors in the Sharp Shooter for an early tap out. But the Doctors have playoff upset aspirations and caught the unsuspecting Harts with sweet chin music knocking him out cold and taking the victory 5.5 to 1.5. The Voodoo Kings sit in a tie for the final 2 playoff spots, while the Foundation have guaranteed themselves to finish no worse than 3rd.
The Oles gave the Dutchies an early scare with quick goals from Matheson, Hughes and 2 by Lafreniere. The Dutchies slowly started to come back, but the real key to victory was a temped STL shut out combined with Vegas giving up 7. Final in this one was 5.5 to 1.5 for the Dutchies, who manage to hold on to the top spot, while the Oles were officially eliminated from playoff contention.
The Waqi's Guys came into this game after a heartbreaking loss the game before. The Sting are also fighting for their playoff lives. With no McDavid in the lineup, and Mark Stone going down with an injury the previous game, things were looking bleak for the Guys. But the team showed massive intestinal fortitude with stellar defense and took out the Sting 2 to 1.5. Sting sit in 6th, and the Wais Guys remain only 2 points out of a playoff spot.
The Posse have been on a gimme roll, as his previous 2 opponents were no shows. Tonight was really no different, as the usually powerful VB lineup couldn't muster any offense. The Posse, due to bad goaltending, didn't do much better, but did just enough to squeak out a 1-0 win. VB's sit tied with the Doctors for the last 2 spots, while the Posse remain 1 point out of first.
In the final game of the night, the Avs take out the Hackers by a score of 2.5-0. Avs clinch a playoff spot with the win.

First Star - Letang & Coyle with 2 goals a piece to lead the Doctors to victory
Second Star - Panarin with 3 assists after being a game time decision was the difference for the Posse
Third Star - Thomas with 3 assists to help put the defending champ out of the playoffs
