Game 40 Scores

Gentlemen, your new years blessings have already begun!  The Doctors are busy cooking the year end books so they can raise the price of bread, so you are being blessed with a cameo by the King of Oranje on commentary.

Let's kick it off with the Wai's Guys vs the Posse.  And like most times, when TB and EDM score, the Posse win.  Drai and Kuch came to play with a combined 3.5 points to lead the Posse to victory by a score of 4.5 to 1.  The Posse have put together an impressive 7 game winning streak and tie for highboy on the night.  Wai's Guys continue to try and climb into a playoff spot.

The next game had the other highboy, also posting a 4.5.  Was it the Sting or the Dutchies?  Lead by a spread out scoring attack, the Dutchmen take the victory over the Sting by a score of 4.5 to 2.5.  The King or Oranje takes back sole possession of first while the Sting are now in a 3 way tie for the final playoff spot.

The Hart Foundation and Avalanche squared off in the 3rd game of the night.  Since the Foundation was previously in first, I'm sure you can figure out the outcome.  In a tight match, the Avs squeak one out over the Stu's boys 3-2, with Seguin leading the way with a goal and 2 assists.  After the game, Pasta was seen suplexing RNH for not coming to play.

Next up the Flash and Oles battled it out in the back half of their back 2 back, with the Oles looking for blood.  It was a tight battle back and forth, and though it wasn't the outcome either team wanted, it finished in a tie at 3-3.   The Douche and Robertson 2 pts vs Nichushkin with 2 helped it finish in a draw.

The next two games were not as exciting as the rest.  Basically it was put a line up in and you win.

Kickass was too busy partying at the team family party and forgot to show against the Voodoo Docs............I smell some voodoo magic............and lost by default 3-0.  The Doctors maintain a 3 point strangle hold on 4th, with home ice advantage at steak for the playoffs.  Joe's Kicking his own Ass for the blunder, as they had a chance to stay in a playoff spot.

Finally, the VBee's didn't need much offence, but still put up a respectable 4 to beat the Hackers 4-0.

First Star - Tyler Seguin with 1,2 to ensure the victory over the Foundation
Second Star - Leon Draisaitl with his 1,2 powering the Posse to victory
Third Star - Kuchie Koo with his 1,1 adding insult to injury for the Wai's Guys
