Game 45 Scores

Well lads, all good things must come to an end, and this will conclude the Dutchies scoring term. Next up is the Sting for games 46-51.

First game of the night saw Joe Kick Ass beat the Hackers on the back of Matty Barzal's 1,3, despite horrible Ranger goalies.

The Posse and Foundation are in a tight battle for 2nd, and this game showed it's going to be a heated rivalry down the stretch. both teams went back and forth all night, but when the dust settled the Posse emerged victorious by a score of 4-3. Sam Reinhart led the way for the Posse with 1,1 (always draft guys in NHL contract years). TB was one of two goalies to help their cause with an assist tonight. Posse are now just 2 points back of the Foundation for 2nd.

The Witch Doctors were supposed to be building for next year, but their players sure are acting like this is their year! They took on the Sting looking to build off their sweep of the first place Dutchies in the back to backs. Tage Thompson led the way with 2 goals before leaving the game with an injury put the Doctors over on the night, beating the Sting 6-2.

The Oles saw early returns on their trade with the Dutchies, as Brock Boeser had 2 goals within the first 6 minutes of the game. That along with excellent goaltending from Vegas gave the Oles a 5-3.5 victory over the Avs. Av's had more players put up points, but too many assists and not enough goals were their downfall. Doctors and Avs flip flop again in their battle for 4th.

The Flash came out guns blazing with a goal and 2 assists for Seth Jarvis, but that was most of what they could muster for the rest of the game, as the VB's led by Matthews 2,0 and Millers 0,3 give the Bombers a win by a score of 5-1. VB's move into a tie for the final playoff spot, while the Flash remain just 2 points back.

In the final game of the night, the Dutchies jersey's burned bright oranje as they took on the struggling Wai's Guys who were looking to make up ground and climb back into the playoff race. Even their goalies tried to help out with an assist, but McD and Co could not keep up the the Petterson-Crosby show (combined 4 g, 2a). Final in this one was Dutchies 6.5 Wai's Guys 4.5. Dutchies extend their first place lead to 5 points while the Wai's guys remain only 4 point out of the playoffs.
