Game 43 Scores

Sorry boys, DSN (Dutchies Sports Network) was closed yesterday for technical difficulties, so here are your Saturday scores.

The Oles are ending this round of B2B's with a guaranteed 4 points.  Game 1 went seamlessly with a 3-0 victory over the Hackers.

The Witch Doctors and Dutchies faced off in a tight battle to kick off the evening.  Goaltending was the difference in this one, as the Doctors pull out a 3 - 2.5 victory to end the Dutchies modest 6 game winning streak.  A valiant effort by Nylander (2,1) could not overcome a -2.5 in goaltending, while the Doctors were lead by a Trochek goal and assist.

The next 2 games featured the high boys, and 2 very entertaining games.

The Foundation and Flash squared off in a heavy weight slug fest, trading punches, kicks, eye pokes and kicks to the nuts.  When the dust settled it was the Foundation that stood victorious with a 7.5 to 5 win.  Boldy lead the Flash with a impressive 2,1, while the Harts were paced by 2 goals from Forsberg.

The Avs and Wais Guys, 2 of the preseason favorites began their series in thrilling fashion.  Not gonna lie, this one got ugly at times as both teams desperately wanted the win.  When the dust finally settled, the Avalanche raised their arms in victory by a score of 7.5 - 4.  Avs co players of the game were Barkov (0,4) and Point (2,0) while the Guys had a Verhaeghe lead the way with 2,1.

The Posse and Sting were in a heated battle all night long.  The FLA / TB game was key, as it left the Posse starting out with a -3.5, and Sting player of the game Tkachuk put up a goal and 3 assists. A Reinhart Hatty and 1,2 from Kuch couldn't save the Posse who loe 5 to 3.5.  Posse win streak ends at 9 games and Sting stay in a playoff spot

In the final matchup of the night, the VB's only needed 3 players to show up to secure a victory over Joe Kickass.  Final score was VB's 5.5 - KA 3.5.  Hyman (3,0), Miller (2,1) and Hughes(0,3) lead the way, while Bouchard (0,3) tried to keep Joe in the game.
