Quarter Finals Game 6
Sun Mar 17, 2024 6:49 pm
2 Series already in the bag.
Would Game 6 see another series end? Would both games get pushed to game 7?
Let’s get right to it…
3 Stars:
Panarin 2G 3A
Tkachuk 3G
Stamkos 2G 2A
2 Posse Vs. 7 Sting
The Posse are still on the ropes, still leaning towards elimination, but also starting to claw their way back into the fight as well. This was a statement game for the Posse and what a statement was made! With their lives on the line, the Posse come out guns a-blazing, lead by Panarin who, after early in the game looked like Tkachuk’s hatty might sink them, instead results in a ‘Hold my Beer’ moment. After the Tkachuk wake up call, the Posse go on a scoring tirade not only scoring High boy of the night, but also of round 1 putting up a massive 10 spot! Here’s to hoping their wheels fall off if they make it to the second round!!! Posse win this one 10-2. The Posse have come back from being down 3 games to 1 and take it to the all important game 7!
Series tied 3-3
4 Avs Vs. 5 Kickass
With their 2024 playoff lives on the line, the Avs look to follow in their father’s footsteps and push the series to a game 7. Just like the Posse/Sting game, this one was also extremely high scoring. Lead by Stamkos’ 3 spot, the Kickass got contributions from all but 1 of their skaters. You know it’s not your night when… The Avs get contributions from a bunch of their players, including an unlikely 1.5 from Harley, but the onslaught was just oo much to bear. The Kickass’ fury was felt again on this night resulting in a series-clinching victory by a convincing margin with a score of 7-2. The Dutchies better be worried; very worried if the Kickass keep up this torrid scoring pace. A valiant showing from the Avs in this series, they are forced back to the drawing board in a Leaf-like way trying to figure out how to make it past round 1. Good luck next yr Jr!
Kickass win series 4-2
