Quarter Finals Game 7

The air was buzzing with anticipation of the only game 7 in the 2024 AHL Quarter Finals.  Both managers were sharply dressed and had all their plays drawn up.

This one last tilt to determine who would be moving onto the Semis promised to be a great one!!!

With game time approaching, the Posse slyly inputted their lineup in the 11.5th hour.

The crowd patiently awaited for the Sting lineup’s presence…1:04, 1:05 and 1:06!

No Sting players in sight!!!

Were they scared? Were they drunk off their asses?

Who knows! None of them were around to be asked!

As such, the Posse win the game in a historic first in the AHL; a forfeit due to missing a lineup in game 7.

Unfortunately for the Sting, they would’ve actually won the game. By what score? Who knows and who cares. Doesn’t matter.

Sting are eliminated and the Posse move on setting the stage for an epic Selis between the Dutchmen and the Lickass (oops, I mean Kickass!) and the Foundation and the Pussies (oops again, I meant Posse).

Couldn’t have drawn up a more perfect Semis if you tried!

I now pass the scoring torch off.
